Created With Intention
A weekend assignment.
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10
The work of the enemy is to steal, kill, and destroy. In doing so, he wants to have you think that God doesn’t have good plans for you.
He loves those moments when you look at your life and wonder if any of it really matters. He whispers that you’re ordinary, replaceable, or somehow behind. He tries to convince you that your story is too messy, your gifts too small, or your past too heavy to be used by God.
But our Loving Father speaks a different word over us. His truth cuts through every lie.
You are His workmanship.
Not an accident.
Not an afterthought.
Not a project He regrets.
You are a masterpiece formed with intention, shaped with purpose, and held with love.
Don’t believe the lie that you don’t have anything valuable to offer.
You were created with purpose woven into your very being. God designed you with good works in mind; works that only you can carry out in the way you do them.
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us of three powerful truths:
• You are God’s workmanship.
The Greek word poiēma is where we get the word “poem.” You are God’s creative expression; intentional, meaningful, and beautiful in design.
• You were created in Christ Jesus.
Your identity isn’t rooted in your failures, your past, or your insecurities. It’s rooted in Jesus; renewed, restored, and made whole.
• You were made for good works.
Purpose isn’t something you earn. It’s something you were born into. God prepared meaningful impact for you long before you ever took your first breath.
God didn’t wait to see how your life would unfold before deciding whether you were worth using. He prepared good works in advance for you. That means your purpose isn’t dependent on your perfection. It isn’t canceled by your mistakes.
Your purpose is anchored in God’s intention.
Even when you feel unseen, God sees the way you love people.
Even when you feel unqualified, God equips you with what you need.
Even when you feel behind, God is not in a hurry, He is in control.
The enemy wants you to believe your life is random. God wants you to know your life is deliberate.
Will you join me in a weekend assignment?
Take five minutes today and write down three things about yourself that reflect God’s workmanship (qualities, gifts, or experiences that shape who you are.)
Then write one way you can use one of those qualities to bless someone in the coming week.
Faith grows when you practice it.
Loving Father, thank You for creating me with intention. Help me silence every lie that tells me I’m not enough or that my life doesn’t matter. Remind me daily that I am Your workmanship; crafted with purpose and called to good works. Give me courage to walk in what You’ve prepared for me.
Dear heart, you don’t have to fight to become valuable, you already are. You don’t have to chase purpose, it’s already within you. You don’t have to fear being insignificant, God Himself calls you His workmanship. Walk today like someone created on purpose, for purpose.
Thank you for joining me in this little corner of the internet where we believe that faith is an action word. Pull out a chair and join the conversation as we do the good work of the Lord.

I now know.... I love you, Sister.
So beautiful and true! 💝 I was asking God what writing I'm to release, and now I know! 🙏
