A Father Who Heals
Seen and Unseen Wounds
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
I burned my wrist on a pot, and the pain was immediate. As I cared for the injury, watching the bruise form and wondering how deep the damage would go, I realized how much healing happens beneath the surface. I may not see the cells being repaired or the body’s quiet work, but I trust that restoration is taking place.
In the same way, my Loving Father is caring for my bruised heart.
Though the pain of grief is not visible like a physical injury, its impact is just as real and deep. I may not see all the ways He is creating opportunities for healing, but His presence is steady, His touch gentle, and His love constant.
Just as unseen cells knit together broken skin, God is weaving together hope, peace, and strength in places I cannot yet perceive.
When Your Strength Is Gone
Grief drains the body, mind, and spirit. Right now, I feel like I’m walking through dense fog. While the loss is not new, my heart is carrying a weight I can’t seem to put down. My saving grace is that God never asked me to pretend otherwise.
Just as He tends to the wounds we can see, He also tends to the ones hidden deep within our hearts.
Help Comes Softly
And then, unexpectedly, encouragement arrived. I received messages from beautiful souls, many of whom I’ve never met in person, yet their prayers deeply impacted my heart. Their unseen kindness became part of God’s healing work—reminders that He often uses others to carry His comfort into our lives.
I know that I’m not alone in this valley, so I’m offering a supernatural lifeline in the middle of your dark day, week, or month:
Lifeline of trust: Healing may not be visible right away, but God is always at work.
Lifeline of encouragement: Allow the prayers and kindness of others to be part of God’s care for you.
Lifeline of remembrance: Just as a scar tells a story of healing, let your heart’s bruises remind you of God’s faithfulness.
I pray that my vulnerability will give someone else permission to breathe, to hope, and to believe again. Shared prayers allow us to remind one another that His love is enough, His presence is near, and His healing is real.
Loving Father, thank You for caring for both my body and my heart. Teach me to trust the unseen work You are doing in me. Thank You for the people You send with words of encouragement and prayers that strengthen my spirit. May I, too, become a vessel of healing for others. And when my strength is gone, remind me that Yours never fails.
Dear heart, you don’t need to declare that you’re okay. Just declare that God is with you, even if, and especially when you don’t feel it. Declare that His joy, His presence, His goodness, and His unchanging love will carry you when you cannot carry yourself.
Let’s engage together. Speak life into someone’s valley by offering encouragement. Listen deeply to those who are hurting, becoming part of God’s unseen healing work. Pray boldly for one another, trusting that God multiplies the power of our prayers.

Believe. Trust. Listen. Speak. Pray boldly.
I love this Cathy…it encourages me. Not all wounds are visible.
